Growing Places Garden Project Inc

Growing Places’ mobile markets have been serving 10 locations in 6 communities throughout North Central MA – a region with high levels of poverty, hunger, food insecurity, health disparities, and limited access to fresh, affordable and healthy food. These mobile markets accept SNAP/MA Healthy Incentive Program, WIC and Senior Farmers Market Coupons.

  • The mobile market serves 100+ households on a weekly basis

  • Growing Places manages 5 community gardens sites with 268 volunteers

  • Growing places mobile markets serve an estimate of 700 customers 

  • 500 chef kit customers

  • Growing Places teaches elementary students gardening and nutrition education and assists in teen development through youth-led food justice projects in the community
